Nerikara (Japanese: ネリカラ, Nerikara) is a politician who appears in both Keitai Denjuu Telefang: Speed and Keitai Denjuu Telefang: Power.
Nerikara (Japanese: ネリカラ, Nerikara) is a politician who is met early in Telefang 1. He promises to all the people and Denjuu that he will open a curry shop if he is elected prime minister of the Denjuu World. However, in the Toronko Village Spring cave he reappears, trying to open some doors. Shigeki will next find Nerikara trying to get Netaro to work for him. After the player intervenes, Nerikara takes on an antagonistic role, having Tabasco battle Shigeki. After emerging victorious, the two aggressors will flee the scene.

He is the leader of the Kakuza Party, and wishes to be elected prime minister of the Denjuu World. He holds meetings where he tries to encourage Denjuu to vote for him by promising to build a curry shop if they do so, but most of the Denjuu don't seem to understand what curry is.

In the Tronco Village Spring, Nerikara attempts to enlist the help of Netaro in carrying water to build the proposed curry shop, but Nejiro protects the key to the sleeping Netaro's room. After Shigeki retrieves the key, Nerikara attempts to engage in Telefang with him, but doesn't know how to use a D-Shot. His partner Tabasco takes over instead, and they both run away after Shigeki wins the fight.

Shigeki comes across Nerikara again in the Northeast Cavern of Krinon Village. Tabasco has apparently decided that rather than be Nerikara's partner, she wants to be the first female president of the Denjuu World, so Nerikara asks Shigeki to "mess her plans right up" and gives him a cavern door key.

Nerikara is encountered later in Freesia, as the host of the T-Fanger tournament. Shigeki accuses him of hosting the tournament just to increase the Kakuza Party's popularity, and Nerikara runs away.

When he last talks to Shigeki, he's staying in Panses Village and it appears that he still wants to set up a curry shop in earnest.

Unused T-Fanger sprite
There is a T-Fanger battle sprite for Nerikara in the ROM, but because he is never battled personally this goes unused in the final game. The same also goes for Dr. Craft, who sends Octorifle after Shigeki but isn't actually battled as a T-Fanger, so his sprite is never seen either.<br clear="all" />

In the manga
Nerikara appears in chapter 6 of the Telefang 1 manga, along with Tabasco and a Kakuza Party member. He's apparently doing some sort of experiment involving a Papaver, and gets interrupted by Shigeki's party. Sanaeba's logo is seen on Nerikara's shoes.

<!-- I really have no idea what's going on in this chapter. The art is funny as hell, though. Could somebody please clarify what they were doing with the Papaver / what the flower was, and maybe figure out what was with the Sanaeba logo? I don't think the Kakuza Party is involved with Sanaeba, at least they aren't in the games... -->
